Children’s National Health – Takoma Theatre
About the Project
This project transformed an iconic historic theater in the heart of Takoma Park, Washington, DC, through a comprehensive construction buildout. It encompassed two floors dedicated to cutting-edge pediatric neurology and behavioral healthcare, along with specialized spaces for hearing and speech therapy. We implemented state-of-the-art HVAC and electrical infrastructure, including the installation of brand-new rooftop equipment and a robust steel framework. Additionally, the scope extended to exterior site enhancements, featuring the creation of a spacious parking lot and environmentally conscious bioretention ponds.
